SCHOOL pupils have been praised by a team of inspectors for their behaviour and 'positive attitudes'.
Youngsters at Benjamin Hargreaves Primary School, Accrington, were singled out for praise by officers from the Office of Standards in Education, OFSTED.
A report said inspectors were impressed by the good behaviour and positive attitude of pupils as well as the quality of education in lessons.
Relationships in the school were described as good and staff had high expectations of behaviour, the report said.
Standards in maths, science, geography, music and PE were all above national averages and the school had a "very caring ethos in which moral and social issues were well addressed through lessons."
Chairman of governors, Kathleen Jones, said the school was pleased with the report.
She said: "The school has on-going developments which are improving the quality of education and maintaining our high standards which are set for everyone to follow."
