VILLAGERS for volunteer work will be sought when a mini roadshow sets out in the Ribble Valley later this month.
The Ribble Valley Volunteer Bureau is normally based in Clitheroe, but on April 18 a drop-in session will be held in West Bradford Village Hall to encourage local people to get involved.
The bureau is looking for individuals who can give some of their time to share their experiences and help their communities.
Full training can be given and volunteers have a chance to develop new skills.
Bureau organiser Chris Sivers said: "Voluntary work has a lot to offer to the community in the way of providing services and support to people. But volunteers can get a lot out of their volunteering experience as well.
"They can receive training and learn new skills as well as meet new people and gain confidence in their abilities."
The drop in session is open to anyone who would like to know more about volunteering and will be held on April 18 between 10am and 1pm.
More information can be obtained from the bureau in Clitheroe on 01200 422721.
