AN engineering firm has just completed a rapid repair job.
Brookhouse Composites of Darwen were asked to carry out specialist repairs to wing access panels on an Airbus A310 aircraft.
The work had to be carried out within the aircraft's 28 day ground maintenance schedule and involved the inspection and repair of 60 carbon fibre panels.
Brookhouse is one of only a handful of companies in the country which are approved to carry out maintenance and repair of aircraft components manufactured from high-tech composite materials.
