THE green team at British Aerospace's Samlesbury site is celebrating a top environmental award.
The site has become the first within British Aerospace to be awarded the ISO 14001 quality standards.
"Gaining accreditation for this new standard gives independent assurance that appropriate systems are in place which gives added peace of mind for both us in the business and for our neighbours in the Ribble Valley," said site director Phill Blundell.
The site has now begun to encourage suppliers to adopt similar environmentally friendly processes.
