LANCASHIRE chairman Bob Bennett believes the star-studded Old Trafford squad can produce another big trophy winning season.
Bennett said: "We can do as well, if not better, as last year when we achieved the double because the side have more experience. Our future looks rosy.
"In fact the squad is getting better and better. There is more talent here than at any other time I can remember."
But Bennett warned fans not to turn the championship hunt into a millstone around the team's neck.
"It is important, of course it is. But it is not the be all and end all.
"What we are looking for is that the players do their utmost on the field, every day, in all competitions."
Lancashire launch their campaign with a four-days friendly against Yorkshire at Headingley next Wednesday.
