REGARDING your report, 'Watch your language to win through' (LET, April 7), concerning regional accents being a disadvantage in business, the survey in question is poppycock.
It said those with Liverpool accents 'scored the worst in terms of honesty.' Yet, these people opened their doors to take in stranded racegoers after the dreadful attack in the Grand National.
Do you think accents mattered then? No, these people were doing their best to help. All this is worth much more than 'posh.'
