ON behalf of the Lancashire Road Riders Motorcycle Club, may I thank all the shops and supermarkets which donated Easter eggs for our annual Easter Egg Run. This year, our two main visits were to Pendlebury Children's Hospital, and Booth Hall burns unit, near Manchester. We also decided that this year Easter eggs should find their way to local children's homes and hospitals.
Eggs were delivered to Queen's Park Hospital children's ward, Blackburn; Hargreaves House respite care home for handicapped children, Oswaldtwistle; The Gate House, Whalley New Road, Blackburn, and Reedley Cottage, Colne Road, Burnley.
Special thanks to Tesco's, Blackburn; Woolworth's, Accrington; Marks and Spencer, Accrington, and the Co-op, Oswaldtwistle.
DANIELLE NAPIER (Mrs), Lonsdale Street, Accrington.
