A £300,000 investment to open up new markets has been completed.
A four-month project at Bootham Engineers has seen a new radio-controlled crane and lathe installed as well as an extension to its Bacup site.
"The extra space and machinery means we will be able to offer a better service to customers and tackle large jobs," said manager David Ince.
Bootham provide mechanical services including plating and welding.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
