A RISING rugby union star turned in a great performance for England Under 18s as they trounced Scotland 55-18 at Grasshoppers ground Lightfoot Lane.
Second row lock Stephen Borthwick from Cop Lane, Penwortham, was part of the team which over-ran their fierce rivals.
It took their tally to three wins out of three in the mini five nations type tournament after victories over France at Twickenham and Ireland in Dublin. Stephen, 17, is hoping to play against Wales on Saturday and tour Australia in summer.
