SMART thieves went into a Fishergate store and stole sets of waistcoats, shirts and shorts from the children's department.
The clothes, valued at £42, were taken by a blond haired woman on March 25. She was aged 25, and wore a black and white jacket, black skirt with red flowers and black boots.
A KIND customer found a bag in a shop and asked someone if it belonged to her - the woman said yes, even though it belonged to someone else.
The stocky thief got away with the handbag which included cash, bank documents and personal items. She was aged about 18, with brown curly hair and heavy make-up and was wearing a black bomber jacket.
She was with two other women, one who was aged about 19 with blond scruffy hair.
A MAN forced open the front door of a car and stole the stereo and a jacket. It happened on Herscell Street, Preston, around lunchtime on March 17 The thief was 6ft 2ins tall, aged 20-30, with a ponytail and a green coat.
A THIEF smashed a car window and reached inside to steal a £150 video recorder from the back seat.
The vehicle was parked close to St Wilfred's church, Winckley Square, at around 7am on March 23. A man, seen acting suspiciously nearby, was 5ft 6ins, in his early twenties, with a ponytail, blue coat and white trainers.
CASH and bank cards were in a bag stolen by two women from a shop on Blackpool Road, Ashton.
The pair, who struck at around 3.45pm on March 22, were both aged about 30 and 5ft 5ins tall.
