THERE we go again! How many times have we heard it? Blackburn Council representatives and Muslim leaders are set to hold another meeting (LET, April 14).
Only one? Will someone please tell us how many more meetings will be held before something positive is done?
The traffic problem at Pleasington Cemetery has been on-going for years. How many meetings have been held over the years and what results have they achieved? Not a lot if recent events are anything to go by.
How about adopting the methods of the town centre car park and attendants.
When all parking spaces are occupied, they display notices advising the public accordingly. They don't allow more and more cars to choke the entrance and exits, so why allow it at the cemetery?
Why? Because at Pleasington there is no system at all.
In town the car park attendants are in control, and that is exactly what is missing at the cemetery - traffic control.
