THREE gold in seven medals made it a super day for Atherton SC at the Fifth Central Lancashire Age Group Gala.
Firsts went to Daniel Kings in the 13-Year 200 freestyle, Matthew Jackson in the 15-Year 200 butterfly and brother Nicholas Jackson in the 16+ 200 individual medley.
There were silvers for Ian Kay (10-Year 100 IM) and Ryan Grundy (13-Year 200 breaststroke) and bronze for Pat Jackson (16+ 200 IM) and Andrew Grime (16+ 200 IM), who was closely followed by Gerald Prescott, that fourth spot matched by Rhiann Jackson (12-Year 100 breaststroke).
Iain Howard was sixth in the 10-Year IM and Stephen Winstanley was reserve in the 12-Year 100 breaststroke.
Fine swims from Cheryl Hall, Heather Frederiksen and Geoffrey Earle.
Bangor was the venue for the Welsh National Masters, Pat Jackson collecting four gold and three silver medals.
Firsts came in the 100 and 200 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke, seconds in the 100 freestyle and backstroke and 400 IM. Next news story
