DAVID GRIME is set for his most demanding role. He plays a knight errant in St Joseph's Players' ghostly thriller "A Murder Has Been Arranged".
The play, the first half of the Leigh company's Springtime Double, will be staged for four nights from April 22.
David was handed the key role only five weeks ago - and already he is word-perfect.
In the past few years he has played a variety of cameo roles including two Spanish waiters, an expectant father and a plodding copper. "This part is really going to test me," he said.
His wife Angela is, meanwhile, preparing for the May production of "Daisy Pulls It Off".
She plays Daisy's pal Trixie in the 20s comedy which runs from May 20-23.
Tickets for both plays are available at Boardman's Outfitters, Bradshawgate, Leigh. Next news story
