DISNEYWORLD treats lie in store for youngsters who captured community hearts.
Customers and staff at Golborne Asda dug deep to send deserving youngsters Sophie Lee, Sean Pennington and Adam Green on the trip of a lifetime.
They raised a fantastic £8,500 in a superstore-based "Take Three Appeal" - enough to send the trio on their dream trip to Paris.
A 12-month appeal involved donations, badge sales, a fun day, concert and raffles. It ensured there was still more than £2,500 left in the kitty to be shared between SELF, the Wigan and Leigh society for parents and carers of autistic children, and the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Sadly, Sophie, of Edge Green Lane, Golborne, is unable to travel at present.
But the four-year-old, her gran Monica Lee - who works in Asda's grocery department - and mum Kerry will travel as soon as she is fit enough.
Three-year-old Sean Pennington will soon be enjoying the adventure his brother Daniel, 4, and mum and dad Sharon and Russell Pennington, as will 13-year-old Adam Green.
The in-store presentation was a real stunner .
Adam's mum Pam, who works on the Asda checkout, said: "We didn't say anything until today. It's a really big surprise."
He will be off to Disneyworld with mum, dad Rob and sister Emma, 11. Next news story
