MOTOR bosses are offering a cash reward for information leading to the capture of a thief who left a bloody trail after smashing a car showroom window to steal an expensive computer.
The thief struck at the Dutton James garage on Windle Island, at about 6am on Friday, April 4, breaking a plate-glass window before making off with a Pentium computer, valued at more than £1,000.
Showroom manager Roy Pritchard said: "Judging by the amount of blood on the forecourt the thief must have been covered in blood, so somebody must know who it is. We are offering a substantial reward to anyone who can give us information which leads to the arrest and conviction of this person."
Anyone with information can contact Roy at the showroom on St Helens (01744) 27373 or the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
