POLICE have arrested four men and seized drugs and stolen equipment as part of their ongoing Operation Bumblebee campaign.
A man is being questioned in connection with handling charges after a raid on a house in Ridgewood Drive, Sutton, when £500 worth of cannabis, scales and an amount of cash were recovered, together with power tools, electrical goods and garden equipment.
Three men were also charged with various burglary offences and a search was made by police of council-owned garages which are being illegally used in St Helens in a bid to reduce the risk of criminal activities.
Inspector Martin Webb said: "Police have been working flat out with spectacular results in the last two weeks. We hope that it continues and if anybody has any information about drug dealers or handlers we urge them to contact the pro-active unit at St Helens Police on 0151 777 6873 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
