A GROUP of visiting French rugby players took to the water last night for a trip through Foulridge Mile Tunnel.
The 32 youngsters from Roanne were the guests of Foulridge Canal Cruises which presented each with a souvenir cap to mark their visit to Pendle.
They enjoyed a trip along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal aboard the MV Marton Emperor.
The visitors are spending the week learning about rugby history and playing a number of games, as well as taking in tourist attractions further afield.
