HAVE any readers encountered the same problems as we have in Aberdeen, where free school transport for our children's zoned schools are axed due to underfunding and council wastage? The need for a change in the Eduction Act, or for money specifically for this service, especially in view of today's social, health and traffic problems should be a priority.
Only by contacting your MP or future MP can changes be made through parliament, the aim being a reduction in statutory walking distances from the currently unacceptable levels.
