MR F BILLINGTON (Letters, April 15) says the cigarette factory provides work. Then let's encourage more people to smoke and perhaps employ more workers or give those working there plenty of overtime.
Let's start a Smokers' Week. After all, according to Mr Billington, smoking is acceptable and good for everyone.
Regarding the power stations, I agree they do provide jobs, but they don't do the harm that cigarettes do to our bodies or other people's.
