Burnley's 5-0 defeat at Wycombe was the Clarets heaviest league reverse since Burnley were thrashed by a similar scoreline at Oxford United on March 23, 1996.

Wycombe's victory, if Burnley fans need reminding, was their biggest league win since they achieved Football League status after clinching the Vauxhall Conference title in 1993.

Their previous highest win was a 4-0 success over Scarborough at Adams Park in November 1993.

Interestingly, Jason Cousins, Dave Carroll and Keith Scott played in both fixtures.
