COMPANY bosses Carl and Mark Tatlow are putty in the hands of their workers!
The partners of Blackburn firm Tatlow Signs had agreed to provide ten banners for Derian House Children's Hospice for half-price.
But the following day, as they sat having their lunch, the staff offered to foot the bill between them by donating one banner each.
Carl, 40 and Mark, 39, were so touched by the goodwill of their six workers that they decided to do the banners for nothing.
The hospice will use the 8ft by 1ft banners at charity functions.
Carl said: "We would normally charge £600. It really touched us that they were willing to do that from their own pockets, so we decided to do the work for free."
The banners depict the Derian House logo and will be used at a host of charity functions.
