A MISSING girl has returned home after disappearing more than a week ago on her 15th birthday.
Emma Jones went back to the family home in Blackburn after reading her mother's plea in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph for help to find her.
The teenager had telephoned home after the story first appeared but decided to return at the weekend. She had gone missing from social services accommodation in Liverpool and caught a train back to East Lancashire.
Mum Michelle Jones, of Dickens Street, said: "She came home after reading the story in the paper. She said she had stayed at houses in the Nelson area. I am delighted to have her back safe and sound."
Emma has now returned to Liverpool where she attends a school for children with behavioural problems.
