BUSINESS Link St Helens is offering local businesses concerned with environmental issues the chance to attend a unique one-day conference on April 22.
Five short presentations on issues such as Landfill Tax, packaging waste regulations, waste minimisation, energy efficiency and environmental support systems, will take place in three sessions.
A computer software demonstration of an environmental management programme and packaging waste regulations will also be included in the conference being held at the Business Link headquarters at the Technology Campus, Pocket Nook.
Each of the three sessions, which are to be held in the morning, lunchtime and late afternoon, lasts for two-and-a-half hours.
The cost is £20 to Chamber members and £25 to non-Chamber members which will include refreshments.
