IT'S not just the British Lions who are searching for sporting glory in South Africa this season, for a dozen English Lionesses will be out there, too.
And amongst the twelve will be Bury's Tracey Neville who, at the age of 20, has been selected for the England Netball touring party.
Goal attack Tracey has a tough task ahead of her against the second best team in the world but the young English girls are hopeful of making a big impression during July's three test series in Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
Already the England under-21 captain, Tracey has featured strongly in the build-up to the tour. She faced the Jamaicans in last autumn's ill-fated test series and then battled her way through to a 27 strong list of possibles.
That was whittled down to 12 over a selection weekend in Canterbury and Tracey was on the list.
The former Holy Cross College student is currently at Bristol University where she is studying Mathematics.
