HE will never make Blackburn Rovers' first team, but a wooden sculpture will still able to keep a close eye on the goings-on at Ewood Park.
The sculpture is one of 21 being created to mark the new millennium and will be placed on redeveloped land near the club's ground.
Youngsters from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour School, Blackburn, gave sculptor Martin Heron and painter Phil Shepherd a helping hand to make the work of art.
It will mark the spot of one of 21 time capsules being buried in the borough as part of the Groundwork Blackburn's "Time and Place" project.
Schools and community groups are taking part in the project which is aimed at celebrating the turn of the century by remembering the last 100 years.
It is part of a wide scheme to improve derelict and under-used land in the borough.
