WHAT Adele Atherton wants, what she really, really wants is a partner.
Rock FM's very own Geri Spice needs a zany helper for when the Red Rose Thundertruck goes on the road this summer with a series of roadshows across the county. But Adele, 22, may just hit the streets as herself after an appearance on Granada Reports as Ginger Spice Geri led to a show-down with radio bosses.
Programme Director Paul Jordan said: "She is a pretty girl in her own right. But since she was on television we have been swamped with letters and phone calls. We've now told her to clean up her act."
