Well now's your chance to find out. The youth group of the Church of the Redeemer, Shadsworth, have won the the Lancashire heat of a national magazine competition with their entry called "Rave".
The magazine was voted the best of 26 entries and will now go on to the national finals next month along with two others from the region. The Reverend Simon Bessant from the church said: "There are 14 members in the group and they do the whole thing themselves. It's not just something we use to talk about God, it's more like a commercial youth magazine."
Their reward for winning the heats was a cheque for £60 and a certificate of their achievements, presented to them by the Bishop of Blackburn, the Rt. Rev Alan Chesters.
The judges who marked the entries described articles as "eye-catching," and "excellent and imaginative."
The Rev Richard Steel, communications officer for the Church of England in Lancashire, said: "It's exciting that a dynamic young team has won. Praise is due to all the "Rave" team."
And the magazine is not just a one-off for the competition. It is printed every two months.
