TWO doctors from Burnley General Hospital have won a national award for their work.
Senior registrar Steve Chadwick and consultant Phil Banks analysed the views of orthodontic colleagues around the country on the equipment and appliances available to patients having treatment for teeth and jaw irregularities. Their paper was based on the first national survey of the British Orthodontic Society and had statistical assistance from Manchester University.
Mr Chadwick has been invited to present the paper at the national British Orthodontic Conference in Harrogate.
