LEIGH U15s RL schoolboys face a War of the Roses on Monday.
They take on Leeds at Salford in the English National Schools Cup Final for the Dennis Davies Cup.
It will be Leigh's third successive final; they beat Wigan two years ago but fell to Bradford in 1996.
Stand-off and skipper Chris Dootson inspired their semi-final win against St Helens, scoring 13 of his side's 17 points.
Chris, 15, who has signed schoolboy terms with Leigh in the face of stiff competition from several professional outfits, scored a try, three goals and three drops, the other TD coming from Sean Penkywicz, won of the Leigh East prop.
Westleigh High youngsters in the squad - Gary Molyneux, Carl Bailey, Robert Bowdler, Lee Hart and Gary Gittins - received commemorative certificates after beating St Helens Schools 17-10 in the semi-final at Knowsley Road.
Leigh lad Tommy Martyn, now going great guns with St Helens, presented them. He said: "Leigh has always been a hotbed of rugby and Westleigh High lads' success indicates the potential there is in the town."
