POLICE are still searching for the two men who indecently assaulted a woman in the park area between Metcalfe Street and Lever Street, Padiham, on Sunday, April 12.
After leaving a taxi at 10.30p.m. the woman was pulled to the ground by a man who put his hand over her mouth. As they hit the floor a second man knelt beside them. They then ran off after being disturbed by a passer-by.
The main assailant is described as being in his early 20s. His thick blond hair was in mushroom style and pulled forward onto his forehead. He was clean shaven, had large eyes and prominent teeth, and was wearing a dark navy, long-sleeved top with small collar.
