THREE teenagers have been expelled from a Preesall school after being found in possession of drugs.

The 15-year-olds, who all attend St Aidan's CE High School, were caught in the school toilets by a member of staff and the police were called.

Headteacher Dr Alan Leeson said: "One boy was found in possession of a very small amount cannabis.

"All three admitted to having been in possession of the drug at some time. We take the issue of drugs very seriously and have a comprehensive drugs education programme.

"All the boys have been excluded for the rest of their school careers. However, they will be allowed back on to the school premises to take their GCSE examinations in 12 days time, accompanied by a parent or other adult."
