DON'T expect a Vicarage Road tea party tomorrow (April 25)!
The Shakers are only ninety minutes away from Division One but there will be no premature celebrations from Stan Ternent and his men.
The Bury mean machine knows that, irrespective of what others do, it can clinch promotion with a point at Watford.
Ternent is likely to send out the side that ended the game at Luton on Tuesday (see page 85). He really has little choice, for he is down to the bare bones.
Rob Matthews, David Pugh and Andy Woodward are all out for the season, Andy Scott has gone back to Sheffield United after his loan period and reserve goalkeeper Lee Bracey has damaged his hand in an accident in his bathroom.
To add to Ternent's headaches Adrian Randall has had a gastric bug and there are a multitude of bumps and bruises in the camp.
"We are not counting our chickens, even though we are in a very strong position," declared Ternent. "It will be a case of all hands to the pumps. We need to produce another disciplined, professional performance and the rewards will take care of themselves."
