TOP entertainers have been lined up for two bumper events to raise cash for St Catherine's Hospice in Lancashire.
An open-air firework concert and an appearance by favourite crooner Max Bygraves are the double bill planned to raise cash for the hospice at Lostock Hall, near Preston.
"Symphony at the Tower" is a unique gala concert in the grounds of Hoghton Tower featuring popular classics performed by Northern Chamber Orchestra and rounded off with a spectacular firework display.
Revellers can take picnics, chairs and rugs to the concert on Saturday, June 7 at 8pm but no barbecues are allowed and the concert will be cancelled if the weather is bad.
Max will be wowing the crowds at Preston Guild Hall along with one of the world's top brass bands, the BNFL Band, next Wednesday at 8pm and tickets are £8 and £10 from The Guild Hall box office on 01772 258858.
Tickets for Symphony at the Tower are £15 for adults and £8.50 for children and can be obtained from St Catherine's Hospice on 01772 324540.
