MISSING tickets for a fund-raising concert have now turned up - to the relief of organisers and would-be concert-goers.
The tickets for the concert at Bacup Leisure Hall a week on Sunday, fell victim to a missing link between distributors and sellers.
But they are now on sale at S and A Coulton newsagents in St James Street, Bacup.
Rossendale Players are organising the concert to raise funds for their planned new theatre in Waterfoot.
It will feature Rossendale Male Voice Choir and Stacksteads Band with guest soloist Susan Grindrod who sang at the Players' 60th anniversary old time music hall in November.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £4 each, £3 concessions. The Players bought the old Bethel Baptist Sunday School on Burnley Road East four years ago and are slowly converting it into a theatre.
They have raised enough to carry out minor work, but are hoping for a £200,000 Lottery grant to pay for the major alterations.
Publicity officer Stanley Whittaker said: "We are working on a feasibility study and hope to apply for the full grant soon. If that does not succeed we may have to think of doing the work in stages and perhaps more modestly.
"We are talking to the licensing authorities to find out what we need to do as a minimum to use the building.
"We are using it ourselves for meetings and rehearsals but we can't yet use it for public performances."
