LEIGH ATHLETIC ended their championship-winning season with a slither and a sizzler.
They looked like slithering to a shock defeat at Moston as complacency set in and they were stumbling 3-0 down with 10 minutes remaining.
Rob Lysons' header (his 22nd goal of the season) was their only reward after a glut of missed chances.
Then, in an exciting finale, they got it right. Gordon Walker smashed one home, then Danny Wilson stepped off the bench to grab the equaliser.
The signs are good for next season.
