DAVID and Barbara Casson's life will never be the same again.
The vacuum repair specialists from Accrington may have to learn to repair telephones as well after the overwhelming response they've received following their appearance on the Channel Four documentary "Another One Bites the Dust", last week.
"My phone has been red hot this morning," said Mrs Casson, the day after the show was aired. "We've had calls from Chorley, Worcester, Sheffield, Leicester, London, Southampton, Newcastle - the list just goes on.
"I've had so many people ringing up saying how much they enjoyed the programme, a passing delivery man came in, shook my hand and walked out again!"
The programme was part of a series about people who are mad about machines, and the Cassons' appearance could not have been better for business.
"One old lady rang up saying she'd been told parts for her vacuum were obsolete. She just wanted to be reassured by us because she thought we sounded so genuine.
"Another woman who saw us on telly wanted my husband to go out to Clitheroe to have a look at her vac. We don't go out as far as Clitheroe, but he made an exception in this case as she sounded so nice."
