YOUNG violinist Claire Robinson added a string to her bow when she won the chance to make music with members of the Halle Orchestra.
Claire, 14, was one of 15 lucky Lancashire youngsters to join the world-class musicians for a tuneful workshop.
The young people, aged between nine and 15, were the winners in a draw run by Royal Mail for children of its staff.
Claire picked up some tips from the Halle's Mike Hall and after half a day of learning and practising all the pupils had reached a high enough standard to join the maestros in a performance of a piece of classical music.
