GOLDEN girl Heather Frederiksen is showing the way for Atherton Swim Club.
She struck gold in the 12-Year 200 IM at the sixth Central Lancashire Age Groups.
There was gold, too, for the club's 9/10-Year 4x50 freestyle team of Iain Howard, Dean Jones, Ernest Collier and Ian Kay who also collected a silver in the 4x50 medley.
Daniel Kings hit another NQT when he swam to a PB and silver in the 13-Year 400 IM while Hannah Foster was second with a PB in the 13-Year 400 IM.
Silver, too, for Holly Davies in the 13-Year 100 breaststroke and the silver collection was completed in the 200 IM (PB) by Matthew Jackson, who was also fourth in the 100 freestyle.
Andrew Grime was third in the 16+ 100 backstroke, while another bronze went to the 9/10-Year 4x50 medley team of Danielle Hampson, Katie Quinn, Sarah Green and Sunaya Patel, who were also fourth in the 4x50 freestyle.
Ryan Grundy was fourth in the 13-Year 100 breaststroke while Stephen Winstanley was sixth (PB) in the 12-Year 200 IM.
Both Rebecca Grime and Cheryl Hall had PBs in the 12-Year 200 IM while Amy Jones was a reserve finalist. Gerald Prescott was reserve finalist in the 16+ backstroke and Patricia Jackson had a fine swim in her event.
