AN Atherton housewife who regularly plays bingo with her identical twin sister will now be able to buy a bungalow after shouting 'house' on Monday night.
For Dorothy Keen, 60, a mother of four, won a whopping £55,000 at the Shipley Bingo Club in Leigh.
A member for two years, Dorothy is sharing the prize with her sister Brenda.
Her game at Shipley's in Windermere Road saw her win the house prize of £165, a regional prize of £5,425 and £50,000 of the national bingo game prize of £100,000, the second half being won by a player in Southend.
Husband Thomas, a former pit worker, said: "The win is smashing. I went to pick Dorothy up and she came out of the bingo hall carrying a bottle of champagne. I thought she had won the houise prize and couldn't believe it when she told me she had won the national prize."
