NIGHTCLUB staff had their cake but didn't eat it when they celebrated their first birthday.
Staff at Utopia, Blackburn, decided to give away the birthday cake made for their first year under a new name to the children's' ward at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
The cake was dished out by club sales manager Harish Aggarwai.
"There was no better way to celebrate our birthday and the children were delighted," he said.
Utopia's first member, Amanda Noonan, 21, was also treated to a VIP day as part of the celebrations.
Amanda was treated to a slap-up meal, had a champagne reception at the club and an overnight stay in the hotel to mark the occasion.
