THERE should be at least two of Blackburn Rovers' potential stars of the future on view at Ewood Park tonight when England take on the Republic of Ireland in a schoolboy (under-15s) international.
Midfielder Steve Flitcroft - brother of Garry - and goalkeeper Michael Bingham are both included in the England squad, while winger Paul Forsyth and defender Michael Lawless have been involved with Ireland this season.
All four are associate schoolboys with Rovers, waiting to start on YTS terms, but Forsyth has had to pull out of the game after failing a fitness test on a groin injury. The game has been arranged as a focal part of the Blackburn and Darwen SFA centenary celebrations and admission to the Blackburn End tonight (kick-off 7pm) is £4 (£2 concessions).
