ON the issue of the Freedom of Information, there are certain happenings in war which are sometimes unjust but are still covered by the Official Secrets Act.
If we try to bring them out into the open, we would at least be accused of being unpatriotic and, at worst, of being a traitor to our country.
And so these things are hidden away. But how are we to learn from the past without knowing the truth?
A little knowledge may be dangerous but the hidden truth can sometimes prove fatal.
