ESCOUTS Keith Smith and Debbie Taylor received Chief Scout's Awards making it a May Day first for the 7th Tyldesley group.
At a ceremony in the 7th Tyldesley HQ , Scouts, award winners' families and Group Scout Leader Peter Knight heard Assistant County Commissioner Phil Rigby praise 15 year-olds Keith and Debbie for their achievement.
They gained the highest training award avaiIable to Scouts after 4 years training involving physical, social and community skills, self-motivation and leadership.
Keith and Debbie are the first 7th Tyldesley members to receive the award.
