THE St Helens East Victim Support Scheme is to receive cash from the sale of scratchcards at local Somerfield stores.
Over the next three months, the scheme, based in Newton-le-Willows Library, will receive part of the proceeds from The Community Charity Cards which have been set up by the supermarket chain.
Anne Slater, the St Helens East VSS co-ordinator said: "We are delighted that Somerfields supermarkets have nominated us to receive financial support in this way and we would particularly like to thank the manager and staff of Somerfield's Earlestown shop for all their help."
