TO the thieves who stole my car, ran it round a field then dumped it, I am sure that if I had money to put more petrol in, you would have got further with it.
But instead you had to trash it and destroy things that did not belong to you.
I am an ordinary single mum trying to get by. You have destroyed my only means of transport and made May 13 the most upsetting day I have had in a long time.
Being on benefit, I have no spare money to pay for repairs and it is going to cost me a fortune in bus fares to get my son to school every day.
I hope all the thieves out there can sleep at night because I won't be sleeping very well from now on.
I also wish that the police and the insurance companies gave a bit more help to the victims of crime.
L O'SHAUGHNESSY, Burnley.
