THIS year's Pendle and Burnley Grand Prix of summer road and fell races starts tomorrow (Friday, May 23) evening with the Colne Lions 10-kilometre event.
The race starts at 7.30pm from Colne Cricket Club, Keighley Road, Colne.
The opener is followed by eight more races of differing distances and under-foot conditions.
The Grand Prix, an event always eagerly anticipated by many local athletes, is this year being co-ordinated by Jack Bottomley, of 13 Bentham Avenue, Burnley, BB10 1X2.
The first 50 runners to enter all nine races in advance will receive a free Grand Prix T-shirt, but you can still enter race by race.
