POLICE are questioning children in the Waterfoot area of Rossendale after the window of a Stagecoach bus was smashed.
The bus was stopped on Burnley Road East when an undisclosed object was thrown at the window of the single-decker Leyland Tiger. Damage has been put at £200.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Barlow, of Rossendale CID, said several children had been questioned and eliminated from police investigations. Further inquiries are still being made.
