WHILE I was waiting in a queue to use the TSB Speedbank on May 9, I noticed a parked car with some youths inside. The driver opened a packet of cigarettes and threw the paper out of the window. I would like to thank the public-spirited gentleman walking past who had more courage than me. He picked the paper up, handed it back to the "litter lout" and said: "Excuse me, you dropped these. It makes the pavement look so messy."
Well done, sir!
