SINCE May 1 when the Labour Party scored a slender victory in the General Election, the silence from Mr D Pearson and Walt Meadows in the Letters Page has been deafening.
For weeks up to the big day, the Tories were unbeatable, according to these true blue scribes.
Would they now care to comment on the minor setback to the Tory Party?
Might they also care to give their views on the promises made by Paul Daniels, Frank Bruno, Andrew Lloyd Webber, etc, who said they would leave the country if Labour were elected.
Maybe they, too, are like their former masters - and cannot keep a promise.
