ADRIAN Heath is to follow up a scouting trip to Holland by assistant manager Colin Harvey by going Dutch himself this weekend, writes PETER WHITE.
The Burnley manager flew out to the Netherlands intending to take in a total of three games over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Among the players he is hoping to look at it in league action is a Dutch defender about whom Burnley have had good reports.
But he is also aiming to check on other possible transfer targets.
"Colin went last weekend and the contacts we have over there have tipped us off about a couple of players," said Heath.
"The way the fixtures have fallen means I will be able to watch three league games and it was too good an opportunity to miss."
Heath confirmed his main interest was in a defender but he also stressed that he was looking to strengthen all areas of the squad.
Ideally, he would like to add at least one player to defence, midfield and attack and he has already had talks with two or three potential signings.
Details of which players are out of contract this summer are now doing the rounds.
